Indonesia to hold Graphic Design expo

A number of countries will take part in the Graphic Design Forum Expo (FGD) 2007 due to be held at the Jakarta Convention Center on August 8-12. The exhibition will be themed "Where Technology Meet Creativity".

The expo which has been twice held in Indonesia is one of the biggest graphic industry exhibition in Southeast Asia.

During the course of the expo, the event`s organizing committee are also planning to organise three-day international-level discussions around the theme "Design Power Conference : Think Big with Design". Among internatioal experts to attend the expo are Karim Rashid of Canada, Stefan Sagmeister of the United States, Freeman Lau of Hong Kong and Sudhir Sharma of India. It is anticipated that the Chinese graphic industry will also take part in the expo.
